WELCOME
In May 2009, independently owned Funeral Directors H L Hawes & Son Ltd of Barkingside took over the established business of Peter Musgrave Funeral Directors, Leytonstone following Mr. Musgrave's retirement.
The day-to-day running of the office is the joint responsibility of Funeral Arrangers, Theresa Crane and Linda Graham, who will be pleased to meet with you to discuss your requirements.
H L Hawes & Son Ltd is an independently owned funeral business that has been trading in Essex and East London since 1847.
The Company's head office is at 106 Tanners Lane, Barkingside IG6 1QE with a branch office at 153 Station Road,
North Chingford E4 6AG.
In December 2007 we opened an office in Waltham Abbey, trading as The Abbey Independent Funeral Directors Ltd.
A funeral is one of life's most personal events and we understand how important it is for each family to discuss, plan and agree upon the funeral service.
Our involvement and support begins the moment the family contacts us and continues beyond the day of the funeral.
We pride ourselves on our high standard of deceased care and genuine understanding of our clients' individual and cultural needs.
Our bespoke services include: Green Funerals, ‘Fair Trade' accredited environmentally-friendly product range, Monumental Masonry, The Hawes Pre-paid Funeral Plans, Bereavement Aftercare and a monthly Bereavement Group; as well as a full range of other services.
Always ensuring that we listen to their particular needs and circumstances, we treat every funeral individually and aim to provide family and friends with a meaningful and memorable day.
